Our Story
Founded in 2004 by a group of University of Waterloo Computer Science graduates, Volanté Systems began as a three-person basement startup with a bold vision for smarter point of sale technology. What started as a small, determined team has grown into an industry-leading POS provider with more than 100 employees and a headquarters in Toronto, Ontario, alongside an expanding presence in Charlotte, North Carolina.
From day one, our technology has been shaped by the real-world needs of our partners. Every enhancement, integration, and innovation has been driven by direct feedback from operators working in foodservice management, healthcare, and corporate dining environments.
The result is a flexible, scalable, and highly reliable POS platform purpose-built to perform in the most demanding and unpredictable foodservice settings.
